Background
Jessica came to TechHelp & studio\Blu in 2020 as a Student Design Engineer at Boise State’s New Product Development Lab. She also worked as a Supervisor at Boise State’s Engineering Innovation Studio and as a Student Mentor for the Trio Educational Talent Search. Jessica earned her Mechanical Engineering Degree from Boise State in December of 2023.
Jessica’s exceptional performance, sense of responsibility, and leadership skills led to her recent promotion as the Group Manager of the NPD Lab at studio\Blu in December of 2023. In her new role, she is responsible for guiding student employees in designing and prototyping new products for Idaho entrepreneurs and manufacturers.
In 2022, Jessica won the inaugural Women in STEM, Medicine, and Law Scholarship at Boise State. Boise State Business student Ally Orr created the Women in STEM, Medicine, and Law Scholarship to help female students at Boise State feel supported to pursue any degree and career path they choose.
Jessica is a graduate of Timberline High School in Boise who has a demonstrated history of working in design engineering and secondary education instruction. She is skilled in Design Engineering, SolidWorks, Java, and 3D Printing. Jessica earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from Boise State University in December of 2023.
