MEP National Network Open Supplier Scouting Opportunities

DEW Construction (GC), our trade partner (Thomas Mechanical, Inc.) and their 2nd tier trade partner (Temperature Controls of Vermont) need assistance sourcing control valves for use with Automated Logic’s Direct-Digital Control System for HVAC. This project is for the Burlington Central School District (CSD) in South Burlington, VT. The Burlington CSD uses Automated Logic’s Direct Digital Controller (DDC) in all of their other facilities, and we are required to use the same system for this project such that integration into the campus-wide system is seamless. Manufacturers listed in the project specifications are: Belimo Aircontrols (USA), Inc., Johnson Controls International and KMC Controls. Johnson Controls and KMC Controls are direct competitors of Automated Logic and the controls contractor only works with Automated Logic. For this reason, the (2) other controls manufacturers listed in the spec cannot be used. Belimo Aircontrols provided a letter specifically stating that their products can only be used for non-BABAA projects. This leaves us with zero BABAA compliant specified manufacturers. Sourced manufacturer will need to be able to integrate with Automated Logic’s Direct-Digital Control HVAC System.
