TechHelp was thrilled to play a role in working with a host of partners to create the new Robot Control Lab at the Boise State College of Engineering. Thanks to a generous gift of robotics to Boise State University’s College of Engineering from NexCOBOT, the university celebrated the dedication and opening of the NexCOBOT – Idaho AI Robot Innovation Space on June 12 with a full day of activities. See the Robots in action here.
As Idaho’s major industries include computer technology and innovation, including semiconductor manufacturing and food production, this partnership with NexCOBOT and Boise State University aligns with NexCOBOT’s core competencies of Industrial IoT technology and advanced robot kinematics and Boise State’s innovative engineering curriculum to advance robotics education. The four robots will be used in the teaching of graduate courses, and later expanding into undergraduate, career and technical education and more.
This ceremony will be a celebration of the partnership between NexCOBOT Inc. and Boise State University and will include a showcase of the robots, a Q&A panel about the advanced manufacturing industry and its future in Idaho.
